Ms. WANG obtained her bachelor’s degree in mathematics in East China Normal University in 2018. She is now a Ph. D. candidate working on quantification of TCM diagnosis basing on artificial intelligence and mathematics. She has been actively involved in projects, research studies, and competitions in the field of TCM application. In 2019, she led a winning team for the Cyberport Creative Micro Fund, securing HK$100,000 to develop the Traditional Chinese Medicine Food Digital Assistant (TCMFDA). In 2020, she achieved the first runner-up prize at the A.I. Future Tense InnoTech Solutions Pitching competition. From 2022 to 2023, she participated as a core contributor in a retrospective study on the treatment of COVID-19 with traditional Chinese medicine. This study was supported by the Chinese Medicine Development Fund (Project No. 22B2-006A). She was also involved in the research and development of warm palace and pain relief acupuncture patches based on modernization techniques of traditional Chinese medicine which received support from the National Key R&D Program of China, Strategic Collaborative Innovation Program, and Key Project for Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan in 2020 (Project No. MHX/004/20). She also participated as a core contributor in the Ideation Programme organized by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP). Also in 2023, she was engaged as a core participant in the Technology Start-up Support Scheme for Universities (TSSSU).
