Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Professor Li Tie is a distinguished professor and doctoral supervisor at Changchun University of Chinese Medicine. He also serves as the Vice Dean of the School of Acupuncture and Tuina at the same university.
In addition to his academic roles, Professor Li is a postdoctoral researcher in medicine and a specially-appointed expert for the China-Russia "Belt and Road" Traditional Medicine Practice Development Center project under the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is also an expert in the International ISO TC249 expert group.
Professor Li holds several key positions in various professional bodies. He is the Deputy Director of the Standards Working Committee of the World Federation of Acupuncture Societies, an Executive Director of the Chinese Medicine Professional Techniques Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, and Deputy Director of the Youth Committee of the China Acupuncture Association. He is also a member of the China Acupuncture Association and serves as Secretary-General of the Jilin Province Acupuncture Association.
In recent years, Professor Li's research has primarily focused on scientific issues such as optimal acupoint combination schemes and effect factors. His research revolves around the main theme of "acupoint combination spectrum - influencing factors - evaluation methods", conducting research on influencing factors of acupoint combination effects.
He has led and participated in four key national R&D projects and National Key Basic Research Plan 973 projects. He has presided over one National Natural Science Foundation project and five provincial-level projects, and participated in over 30 national natural science foundation and provincial-level scientific research and teaching reform projects.
Professor Li has published over 70 papers in SCI-indexed journals and national core journals. He has edited or co-edited over 20 academic works, co-edited three national "Thirteenth Five-Year" and "Fourteenth Five-Year" planning textbooks, and participated in editing 11 books. His contributions have been recognized with two provincial-level scientific and technological progress first prizes, seven second prizes, one third prize, and one third prize for academic works.
