Abstract:
During the 5th wave of the COVID-19 outbreak in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Government Chinese Medicine Fund funded the Chinese Medicine community telemedicine scheme.
We illustrated the establishment of the telemedicine protocol, dispensing, and technology logistics.
We use Traditional Chinese Medical Advisor (TCMA) 4.0, developed the Dispensing Centre Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), handling Chinese Medicine Practitioners’ prescription and follow-up queries, dispensing, and logistics arrangement for patients.

Wilfred has publication in major world-class journals, VLDB Journal, IEEE TIE, IEEE TSMC, JPDC, Computer Networks.

The research team established the HerbMiners Cloud Computing Platform, the Clinical Chinese Medicine General Practice Research Database for Big Data Analytics, and the Clinical Chinese Medicine Ontological Information Retrieval System.
Dr. Wilfred Lin was invited as the keynote speaker of the 23rd IEEE International Symposium on Computer-Based Medical Systems (IEEE CBMS 2010), invited speaker of the University of Toronto, eHealth Consortium Hong Kong on TCM clinic management system.
Dr. Wilfred Lin received the Gold Silk Ball Award and the Science and Technology Progress Award from the GuangXi Government of China in 2010 and 2016 respectively for the recognition of advancing the healthcare and pharmaceutical informatics technology development in China.
Dr. Wilfred Lin is the professional member of ACM, IEEE, IES, AAAI, HL7 (Associate), HKCS, ISOC, Oracle Certified Professional, Voting Member of Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation, Honorary Chairman of the Association of Hong Kong & Kowloon Practitioners of Chinese Medicine Limited - Chinese Medical Research Institute.
