Chan-Young Kwon is an assistant professor at Dong-Eui University, Republic of Korea. He majored in Korean Medicine (KM) and obtained his doctor’s degree at Kyung Hee University in 2020. He is a KM doctor and specialist on oriental neuropsychiatry. He has been conducting several researches on mental health management using mind-body therapy in the context of COVID-19, which include the development of a mind-body modalities program via telemedicine for the public and COVID-19 patients in Korea, and the development of a smartphone application to improve mental health using mind-body medicine (e.g. mindfulness). He is also the special issue editor in charge of "Mindfulness and Its Role in Physical and Mental Health" in the SCI(E) journal, IJERPH. His primary research interests are focused on complementary and integrative medicine approaches in neuropsychiatric disorders. With regard to research design, his interests are systematic review and meta-analysis, and he has published about 65 papers in the journals of SCI or SCI(E) source publication.
